Come and experience the feeling of being in the tropical rainforest within the city limits of Kuala Lumpur! This program is specially designed to introduce the wonders and beauty of a primary tropical rainforest.
Approximately an hour's journey to the outskirts of the city, you will pass through typical Malay villages where you can catch a glimpse of local villagers going about with their daily chores as well as indigenous peoples villages. Our first stop is the Aboriginal Museum. Among items displayed are hunting weapons, clothing made from tree barks, traditional musical instruments and wood carvings.
Proceed to a lodge for a short briefing before starting the jungle trekking. Frequented mostly by indigenous people living in the surrounding areas to collect jungle produce, the trail is seldom frequented and has been described as an exhilarating experience by some. The guide will highlight the rich flora found along the way. The trail will follow a river deep into the jungle with multiple cascades and a waterfall at the end where you will enjoy taking a cool river dip. A rewarding experience every time! Be prepared to get your shoes wet.
Back to the lodge after the 2-hour trek (includes time to frolic at an idyllic waterfall), you can test your shooting skills with a blowpipe, fish with a bamboo pole (catch and release) at a nearby fresh water pond, splash about the nearby running stream, take a dip in the swimming pool or just lounge under the sun while enjoying lush tropical surroundings. Return to your hotel after light refreshment.
