Get up close and personal with some of natures most beautiful animals Elephants! NOTE: For this two months Nov/Dec 2015 due to monsoon season some or all of the activities with elephant might be cancelled if the water at the river is above safe level.
After being picked up from your hotel, you will embark on the 2 hour long journey to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. The Elephant Sanctuary is located along the East coast Expressway between Kuala Lumpur and the city of Kuantan.
Upon arrival you will be taken to the Aboriginal Settlement where you can meet some friendly locals and soak in the Malay culture.
After this you will be led to the elephants. You will be able to witness the elephants being fed and bathed as well as going about their usual activates.
The Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary cares deeply about the well-being of the Elephants and it shows. To minimize stress on the elephants, visitors can only view the elephants 2 times a day.
This is a fantastic experience for families. Kids will walk away from this tour with an appreciation for elephants for the rest of their lives.
Once the day is complete, you will be taken back to your hotel.
